Pier Giacomo Castiglioni (Milan, 22 April 1913 – Milan, 27 November 1968) was an Italian architect, urban planner and designer. It is one of the most influential designers of Italian design and among the most famous in the world, defined by Dino Gavina in the top ten designers in the world.〔()〕 His works are exhibited and held in the collections of the most important museum of industrial design and contemporary art in the world, from the Museum of Modern Art of New York〔() 〕 at the Triennale Design Museum of Milan. ==Biography== Son of the sculptor Giannino Castiglioni and Livia Bubble, he graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1937 with a score of 100 out of 100.
